Quotations remain valid for the period specified on the quotation unless otherwise stated.
3. Bookings
A booking is only confirmed once:
- The quotation has been accepted.
- Any required deposit has been received (where applicable).
- The moving date has been confirmed by Cape Movers Furniture Removals.
Bookings are subject to vehicle and staff availability.
4. Customer Responsibilities
4.1 Customers are responsible for ensuring that:
- Information provided during the quotation process is accurate.
- Valuable, sentimental or irreplaceable items are removed before the move or packaged correctly
- Fragile items are appropriately identified and packaged correctly
- Access to the collection and delivery properties is available at the agreed times.
- Parking arrangements, permits or body corporate permissions have been obtained where necessary.
Delays caused by restricted access or incorrect information may result in additional charges.
5. Changes to Bookings
Should you need to change your moving date or service requirements, please notify us as soon as reasonably possible. While we will do our best to accommodate changes, availability cannot be guaranteed.
Additional charges may apply where changes affect labour requirements, vehicle allocation or travel distances.
6. Payment
Payment terms will be confirmed in your quotation or invoice.
Unless otherwise agreed:
- Payments are made via electronic bank transfer (EFT).
- Outstanding balances must be settled in accordance with the agreed payment terms.
- Cape Movers Furniture Removals reserves the right to charge interest on overdue accounts where permitted by law.
7. Delays Beyond Our Control
Although every effort is made to arrive and complete moves on schedule, delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including:

- Mechanical breakdowns
- Load shedding
